Reel questions

How long is a Reel?

It depends on how many stops you have and the travel speed you pick. The preview shows the length and the file size while you tweak.

Can I choose how many stops my photos make?

Yes, with Merge nearby places in the import settings. It groups photos taken close together into one stop: by place (a few steps apart), by city or by country, or not at all. Place suits a city walk, City a road trip and Country a trip across borders.

What file do I get?

An MP4 video. On browsers that can't encode MP4 you get a WebM. On the web it downloads; in the iOS app it opens the share sheet.

Can I remove the Travellar watermark?

Yes. Premium turns off the watermark and the end animation, and starts with a free trial.

Can I use a Reel in CapCut or another editor?

Yes. Download it and drop it into your edit as the scenes that show how you moved between spots.

Which map styles are free?

Standard is free, with or without labels. Premium unlocks every map style, including satellite, with 3D buildings, at dawn, dusk or night, and in the fog.

Can Travellar make a Reel from my camera roll?

Yes. On the iPhone app, AI Trip Finder spots the trips in your camera roll from when and where you took your photos, picks the best photos of each and proposes a Reel for every trip. Your first AI Trip Finder Reel is free; after that it's part of Premium. In any browser, you can import a trip's photos yourself.
