Upload the GPX or KML file from your watch, bike computer or hiking app. Travellar animates the track on a map with your photos at each stop, ready for Instagram, TikTok or YouTube.
How it works
GPX file β Reel
It works in your browser and in the iOS app.
Export your GPX
Download the GPX π§ or KML file of your activity from Strava, Komoot, Garmin Connect or any app that records a route.
Upload it to Travellar
We draw the Route πΊοΈ you recorded and add its Stops π. Add Photos π· and they land where you took them.
Style and download
Pick a Map style πΊοΈ, colours and Music π΅, then download the Reel π¬ as a video.
Street level
Every turn of the track
A hike, a ride or a city walk is a few kilometres long. The Reel zooms in close enough to follow the streets and paths you took.
Maps that get close
The map zooms in to fit your route, flat or with 3D buildings, so a walk between a few streets reads as clearly as a drive between cities.
Place labels
Labels name each stop as the route gets there, so your followers always know where you are.
Photos at every stop
Your photos and videos pop up as the route reaches each place, and every stop gets its name on the map.
FAQ
GPX to video questions
How do I convert a GPX file to a video?
Upload the GPX file to Travellar. It draws the track on a map, animates it from start to finish and lets you download the result as an MP4 video.
Which files can I upload?
GPX and KML files, with the route you recorded or planned and its stops.
Where do I get a GPX file?
Most apps and devices that record a route can export one, including Strava, Komoot and Garmin Connect. Look for the GPX export in the activity's menu.
Can I add photos to a GPX video?
Yes. Add photos and videos from your camera roll and Travellar puts them at the stop where they were taken, using their location data.
Is Travellar free?
Yes. You can create and download Reels for free, with a Travellar watermark. Premium removes the watermark and the end animation, unlocks every map style, your own music, smoother motion and higher resolutions on desktop, and starts with a free trial.
